Terms of Use

Slumbertide · Last updated October 21, 2026

The short version: the app is yours to use, your sound choices, mixes and settings stay on your device, Pro renews until you cancel, and you can cancel yourself in the app at any time.

Who we are

Slumbertide is an app made and run by The Web Plug ("Web Plug", "we", "us"). These Terms are an agreement between you and us about your use of Slumbertide (the "app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you use it for a business, you agree to these Terms for that business.

Your data stays on your device

Your sound choices, mixes and settings are saved in your browser's storage on the device you use. We don't run accounts that hold them, so we can't see them, recover them or move them for you. Clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app or losing your device can erase them. Use Export backup to keep a copy. You own your content, and you are responsible for it.

Listening safely

Slumbertide plays relaxing sounds. It is not a medical device and it does not treat sleep problems or any other condition. If you have ongoing trouble sleeping, talk to a doctor. Keep the volume low, especially with headphones or around babies and young children, and never use the app in a way that stops you hearing alarms or people who need you. Do not use the breathing exercise while driving or doing anything that needs your attention.

Free and Pro

The app is free to use with some limits. Pro unlocks more features. Pro costs $3.99 per month, $19.99 per year (with a 7-day free trial), or $39 once for lifetime access. Prices are in US dollars and may not include taxes. We may change prices later; any change to a subscription price applies from your next renewal after we have told you about it in the app or by email, so you can cancel first.

Subscriptions, trials and cancelling

Using the app fairly

Don't use the app to break the law, to deceive or harm anyone, or to try to break, copy, resell or get around the app's limits or payments. We may stop providing Pro to anyone who does.

Changes and availability

We work to keep the app running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering the app, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app, and you will keep any exports you made.

No warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Law that applies

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is important, we'll say so in the app before it applies. Using the app after that means you accept the new Terms.
